OCEA signs the first OCEA Classic 85

 

OCEA shipyard has signed a build contract for the first OCEA Classic 85 to be delivered in summer 2008.

The OCEA Classic 85 is designed by the naval architect office Joubert-Nivelt.

In accordance with the design brief of all OCEA yachts; the OCEA Classic 85 is designed for extended cruises to the most secluded places. The OCEA Classic 85's distinctive design feature is a spacious panoramic salon located behind the bridge and surrounded by full height windows.

Her main characteristics are:

  • Length overall: 26.50 m
  • Hull length: 23.95 m
  • Beam: 7.20 m
  • Max Draft: 1.80 m
  • Displacement: 100 t
  • Max speed 12.7 kts / Cruising 9.0 kts
  • Range: 3000 nm @ 9 kts
  • Motorisation: 2 x 330 bhp
  • Certification: CE - category A
  • 1 Owner's stateroom
  • 3 Guest staterooms
  • Crew quarters for 4


In addition to this new order, two OCEA Commuters are currently under construction at OCEA shipyard. They are scheduled for delivery in spring and summer 2007.
