OCEA starts construction on a new yacht

The OCEA shipyard in Les Sables d’Olonne has taken an order for a new boat. Construction has just begun.

The 32.70 meter boat is the tenth motor yacht built by OCEA. Like all those that came before, it is completely custom built. The yacht fully meets the owner’s expectations in terms of equipment and space configuration, while relying on a time-tested design and proven solutions. In the spirit of all OCEA yachts, this aluminium ocean-going yacht will also be capable of circumnavigations in optimal comfort and safety.

Latest environmental standards

Reducing the boat’s environmental footprint, in particular its greenhouse gas emissions, was the guiding principle behind the entire design. As a result, this will be the first OCEA yacht with engines that meet IMO Tier III emission standards, allowing it to sail in Emission Control Areas defined by the International Maritime Organization. The yacht will also be equipped with the latest generation of batteries to keep the main on-board comfort features running at night without the need for generators.
